Circular Economy Consulting
I help businesses find the hidden costs in how they use resources and turn that into a practical plan that pays for itself. A structured, on-site assessment process that finds the inefficiencies your team has stopped noticing.
The reality
Resource efficiency is not about doing the right thing for the planet. It is about running a tighter operation. A structured assessment finds the waste your team has become blind to and turns it into a clear, costed action plan.
Hands-on work that leads to real progress. The kind that changes how you operate.
A structured, department-by-department review of how your business uses and loses resources. Includes on-site visits, team interviews, and a detailed report with prioritised recommendations across immediate, short-, and long-term timeframes.
Core offeringA structured 90-minute conversation across your operation — waste, water, energy, and packaging. You leave with a written summary of priorities and a clear picture of where the biggest returns are. The fee is credited toward a full assessment if you proceed within 60 days.
Entry pointA focused, single-visit review of one area of your operation. One problem, looked at properly, with a short findings note you can act on straight away. Suited to businesses that know something is off but aren't ready for a full assessment.
StandaloneA dedicated plan covering your current waste practices, segregation protocols, phased recommendations, and a KPI framework your team can use from day one. Built around your operation, not a generic template.
Focused deliverableFinding the problem is one thing. Actually changing how operations run is another. I offer structured support to help your team act on the recommendations that will deliver the most return.
AdvisorySelf-guided tools, templates, and frameworks for businesses that want to start the work themselves. Practical resources built from real consulting experience in the field.
Available on Gumroad →The process
Every assessment follows the same rigorous process, from first conversation to approved report.
We talk through your operation, your challenges, and the scope of the work. I get a clear picture of what you do and where the biggest opportunities are likely to sit.
We agree which departments and areas will be covered. I build the assessment framework while your team sets up the interview and site visit schedule.
I interview the people closest to the work first, then walk the operation with them. Seeing the process in person, after hearing how the team describes it, surfaces things no desk review ever could.
I write up detailed minutes and send them before starting the report. Nothing is misunderstood and you have a chance to correct anything before it shapes the recommendations.
A clear, prioritised report with findings and recommendations your team can act on. Short-term wins alongside longer-term strategic changes, costed where possible.
Ongoing support to embed changes, or hand off the roadmap and run with it yourself. Either way, you leave with something concrete and actionable.
Who it's for
If your business has physical operations and uses resources, there is almost certainly room to improve. The industry doesn't matter, the opportunity does.

Hospitality & leisure
A comprehensive departmental assessment across a large golf resort, covering food and beverage, accommodation, course maintenance, and facilities. The report identified priority actions across immediate, short-, and long-term timeframes with clear cost implications for each.
Agriculture & hospitality
An integrated assessment across a winery and its guest accommodation operation, examining production waste, water use, energy consumption, and packaging across the full supply chain. Recommendations prioritised by ease of implementation and financial impact.
Where I work
The assessment process involves on-site visits and interviews, so geography matters. I am based in Portugal and work across Europe.
I am open to projects further afield where the scope justifies the travel. If you are not sure whether location is a barrier, the best starting point is a conversation.
